How do you help me find the right pet?

We start with who is closest to your sofa. PetMap puts the pets nearest you first, then keeps only the ones that fit what you are dreaming of: dog or cat, big or small, puppy or wise old soul, fluffy or short coat, already neutered or chipped, and pairs of friends who need to stay together. Every pet also has a travel radius set by the people caring for them, so you only meet the ones who could really come home with you.

How do I say I want to adopt?

Open a pet's profile, tap Apply and tell their carers a little about your life: who is at home, which other furry housemates you have and how much of the day someone is around. Your message goes straight to the shelter or family looking after them, and you can keep chatting in the app while they read it.

How do I know what's happening with my request?

Accepted Answer

Your profile keeps every adoption you have started, with a friendly status: sent, being read, meet & greet booked, yes, or not this time. Whenever something moves, we ping you, so no phone tag and no waiting in the dark.

Can I fall in love with more than one?

Accepted Answer

Of course. You can have several adoptions on the go, each with its own little progress line. Every carer only sees the message you sent them.

What happens when they say yes?

Accepted Answer

You arrange the first cuddle right in the chat. If the meeting goes well, their carers finish the paperwork and mark them as adopted. Their health booklet, with vaccinations, neutering and microchip, stays with you in the app forever.
